View from the path that extends above fishermen's settlements Kaneo.
Kane0 is known by the church Saint John the Theologian, or simply Saint John at Kaneo, a Macedonian Orthodox church situated on the cliff over Kaneo Beach overlooking Lake Ohrid in the city of Ohrid. The construction date of the church remains unknown but documents detailing the church property suggests that it was built before the year 1447. Archaeologists believe that the church was constructed some time before the rise of the Ottoman Empire very likely in the 13th century. Restoration work in 1964 led to the discovery of frescoes in its dome.

Bon rendu des textures de ces toits de tuiles et cette barque est bien vue dans la composition.

This is a picture I would have loved to take for sure. Nice high level view, making for a nice textured shot. The turquoise water and the boat as a good focal point add a nice touch to the picture. Nice colour contrasts and fine rendering of the tones and textures in the tiles. Just too bad that the wires spoil the beauty of this image.

The thumbnail made me curious; the full image makes it clear, but the illusion persists. We expect to see sky above tiled roofs! I like the unusual view which creates this near tromp-oeil, which is slightly disconcerting and thus intriguing. I agree with Christian about the wires, and am tempted to do a WS to remove them. But I probably can't be bothered, and I imagine you could very well do that for yourself!
