Photographer's Note
I was alone…I was listening to Simon and Garfunkel the legendary song “The Sound of Silence”. Inspired by the song I turn off the lights, lit the candles and I tried to feel the moment and hear the silence.
If you look long enough in my picture, you’ll hear the silence as well.

Stasha, this is a really nice image - stark, with delicate and wonderfully managed light. The reflection is gorgeous and amazingly clear; are the candles on a mirror?
If I were to have any criticism, it's that it is too closely cropped at top and bottom - a lot of the beauty of the shot comes with the isolation of the candles against the darkness, and cropping the tallest and its reflection against the border loses that a little. But that's a minor thing against such a really lovely shot. Welcome to TE!
Andrew
