This is the continuation of the Strumica carnival series, and this was one of my favorite masks, he was a live performer and made an excellent atmosphere with his drum making me feel like as I was in Egypt for a moment. He was enjoying as I was taking a photo of him, I felt that.

Hi Igor,
When I saw this pic at first I thought it's from Egypt, when I read Macedonia, I said to myself what the bleep, is this a mistake?:)) It's a great capture, great mask, it really brings some feeling of Egypt, very clear shot, I like the subject being in front and all the dark behind him, the framing is also great. Keep on showing us this excellent carnival masks.

Bravo za slikata bravo za karnevalot.
Navistina ubavo si go dolovil Egipet.
Se nadevam deka Strumica nabrzo ke stane poznata kako Brazil po karnevalite.

Много добър портрет, харесва ми острия фокус и тъмния фон зад момчето, на който изпъква колоритната композициа! Хубава рамка също така.

egypt in macedonia, i call this one.
excellent clarity, so sharp and lighting well managed. it doesn't look like a mask but only after one's eyes are focused a bit longer on the subject's face.
