Photographer’s Note

This Church it is dedicated to
Holy Mother of God called Mercifuly.
It is builded in 1080 by monk Manoylo who later become
beshop Strumichki.
I have been three times in this monastery and always
beshop Naum Strumichki has been hospitality.
This monastery is nunnery, and it is located in village of Veljusa near city Strumica.

Ovaa crkva e posvetena na Presveta Bogorodica narechena Milostiva.
Izgradena e vo 1080 godina od monahot Manojlo koj podocna stanal vladika Strumichki.
Sum bil tri pati vo ovoj manastir i sekogash vladikata
Naum Strumichki bil mnogu gostoprimliv.
Ovoj manastir e zhenski manastir i se naogja vo seloto Veljusa blizu do Strumica.

Very beautiful composition, the colour of the stone draws the attention and the architecture is unknown me and I find it very beautiful. Please share your images with us.

Maybe the colours are a bit strange, this is a beautiful church in this surroundings, the trees are a fine foreground and also the "lost" tower in the rightcorner, nice total-picture !

I like this shot, particularly the composition. The colors are striking. The sky on the right side got away from you, and that happens to me too, I'm trying to learn how to use PS elements 2 layers/filters to bring up the color in a washed-out sky. You certainly have a number of men of the cloth as your friends! Good work, and best wishes,

Hi Mihajlo.
It's a very nice monastery with a very typical bysantine architecture (am I wrong ?). I like the crop you applied and the general composition. The colors are still quite strange, maybe due to the light and exposure conditions during the shot and to the scan quality. Anyway, it's a very good and interesting shot. Thanks for sharing !

Hi Mihajlo!
A fine composition which portrays in good colour and detail this interesting church. Incredible how old it is and still survives!
The contrasting colour are effective here and I really like the DOF allowing us to see the interesting structure in the right background. A most pleasing composition.
