Photographer’s Note

Still in the north of Luxembourg, near the main road between Begium and Diekirch.
Looking through west in the direction of Germany.
The landscape is great, even if I take this road every day...

Didier, excellent image that almost looks like a painting. The light on the windmill is excellent. Good depth of field with the eye being drawn from foreground to the windmill and beyond. Nice and sharp - TFS, Garry

I think I passed this place on my way to the Belgium TE meeting.It`s a well composed image with the grain as foreground for this nice landscape and the windengine.I like this horizontal green stripe and the grey sky.

Encore un très bon cliché avec cette éolienne égarée en plein milieu des champs..:o). Je me doute que ses soeurs ne doivent pas être très loin..:o)

Avec de pareilles paysages, l'idée de partir travailler doit être un bonheur( celle de rentrer aussi;-)
Ce paysage me plait beaucoup par sa structure, son ordre,on croirait que les couleurs ont été pensées pour se marier. L'eolienne casse bien l'horizontalité des champs et donne une dimension intrigante à souhait à la photo.

Hi Didier,
Your first one had better depth with that second wind turbine and the small trees beside. But here we have strong light and a beautiful dark grey sky on top. The colours on the meadows are also wonderfully exposed, hard to choose which one i like most...

Hello Didier,

Passer tout les jour par ce joli coin doit te donner envie de t'arrêter bien souvent pour prendre quelques clichés ! Une bonne composition qui intégre cette éolienne et la plante plus fonçée dans le blé ! la partie de ciel est peut-être un peu trop importante est aurait pu être légérement amoindrie en faveur de ce blé lumineux !
Sinon, j'aime bien la lumière de l'ensemble !

What a beautiful scene ... I like the wheat in the foreground. The banding of colors creates nice layers giving the illusion of depth. Well captured and composed with very good image and color quality. Excellent work! tfs

Hi Didier. Good use of the vertical format to amplify the impact of the various and colorful horizontal layers in your photo, also resulting in a quite impressive rendition of depth. Good lighting and you made a nice use of the wind generator as an off-centered anchor for your composition.

ces éoliennes, soit on les évite, soit on joue avec et on en fait des éléments du paysage.
C'est une image magnifique, simple, graphique et d'une très belle composition.

Bonjour Didier,

jolie composition avec les tons or du blé, vert des prairies et des forêts et gris-bleu du ciel, cette "tache" blanche ressort bien. Après les moissons et s'il fait beau, cela donne quelque chose comme ceci ;o)

Hi Didier,
I love the many layers in this fine shot, well presented in the vertical format. The grain field contrasts well with the green, and the mill appears like some solitary space creature patrolling the landscape. The dramatic clouds really give this much ambience. Very fine work...

La nettété et détails du premier plan sont superbes. Cela contraste aussi joliment avec le champ si lisse et vert. L'éolienne est bien placé et tire l'oeil. En plus elle se détache superbien contre les nuages si gris.
