Photographer’s Note

The landscape falls apart in two regions. The Oesling (828, km2) at north of the line Redange-Diekirch are a part of Ardennen-Eifelmassief. The solid mass is there, except in the north, where it to 559 m. high, has been strongly cut by deep valleys of the Sauer (Sûre), Clerf, Wiltz and Our; the rest of the plateaus go to exceed 400 m high. The Southern part, Gutland or [Le bon Pays[ (1758 km2), form a part of the Lotharingse cuesta landscape, who belongs to the basin of Paris. Altitude varies of 200 up to 350 m. the lowest point (129 m) is due to the junction of the Sauer, the most important river of Luxembourg.

Yes this is a great little country, beautiful, photographic a great country. I love it there. The composition is cropped, and I used Neat Image to made it some better. I like the composition, and the curl of the way, and the good lines. I hope you will like it too.

Mooie compositie Jaap, prachtig spel tussen de verschillende lijnen, de kleuren passen in het geheel, het kleine wegje vooraan loop precies op niets waardoor de diepte groot wordt, ik heb minder geluk had door het regen weer de dag in Luxemburg. Prachtig werk Jaap dit wordt een voltreffer.

Mooi landschap: veel lijnen en een mooi kleurenpalet. Ik vind het leuk hoe die kronkelende landweg die vele rechte lijnen in het landschap breekt.

A beautiful landscape with a genuinely impressive display of colors. Composition is very good with the curving roadway guiding the view into the scene, and all the elements with their shapes and geometry add up to a relaxing and very pleasing total. Une belle photo du monde rural avec cette route qui emporte le regard, les arbres et les cultures, les herbes du bas côté. Toutes les lignes convergent vers ce coin à gauche.. Belle composition, lumière, piqué

You tell everything on your note, Jaap; indeed it is beautiful, so many colours so well divided, the photo has several distinct areas, each one marvellous. And the sinuous road is an added value to the very good composition!

Tu as su te placer au bon endroit pour réaliser une composition modèle. La route sinueuse nous conduit à ce champ de colza et le ciel en est séparé par un champ labouré.

Until my ex-military friend talked about this country, I never knew about this place Jaap. This country is indeed spectacular and awesome natural beauty. I did see other pictures from this country and liked them very much. Winding road is really make the picture great. Yellow field with green surrounding makes is very colorful and photogenic. Could you a little bit shadow and saturation.
