Photographer's Note
Today I like very much classic music. But remember as a boy this was absolute no favourite. Maybe the boy here have the same attitude as he was running away from the Philharmonie building in Luxembourg as soon as he was out of the high doors by the main entrance.
The lone boy in front of the 'palace' like entrance to this music center in Luxembourg gives an interesting setting of a little human vs. the powerful architechture of the place. A 'cold' bw filter and high contrast further sets the mood.
From the Luxembourg TE gathering in March 07.

Ciao Jack,
That's an amazing B&W.
Good composition: I really like the building's lines behind the human fogure.
See you soon..

Impressive composition. Little boy against the high modern wall. Amazing set of elements. B&W underlines this mood.

Bonjour, mon ami Jack,

Nice take from the modern philharmonic building again, Jack. The lineup of columns and the pattern of floor tiles delivers a good graphical and rhythmic impact, in the middle of which the boy brings a delightful and lively diversion. The blueish tonality of the b&w filter is different but interesting. Perhaps I would have done a slight correction of the barrel distortion in the pillars but it's basically a non-issue. Thanks for adding the WS, always fun to see TE-ers at work.

Hi, Jack. The little boy really seems to be fleeing. You shot at the right moment to catch the movement. You've also exploited the graphical ressources very well: the white columns in the background and the dark pavement create nice patterns.
