Photographer’s Note
For those who remember Gerry and the Pacemakers, the title of this photo should raise a smile. For the rest of you, it is the title of a photo showing a small ferry between Wasserbillig (in Luxembourg) and Oberbillig (in Germany)that will take you and your car or your bike across the Mosel in five minutes just like in the good old days. There are of course plenty of bridges both upstream and downstream, but this ferry has charm. The photo was taken from the German side, so we are looking at Wasserbillig in Luxembourg.
In fact I don't know if I broke any TE rules by putting "Luxembourg" as country. Should one mention the country shown in the photo or the country in which the photo was taken? Well, that's a typical problem for a small country like Luxembourg.

Hi Per,
Long time ago that I crossed the Mosel swimming. Well both countries are one the picture so I think you shaold Adam for a special category. In anyway you can start a theme of that. I think I can find some old slides with Denmark-Sweden and Sweden-Norway.

Haha, I like the ever-so-slight variation of the famous song title, Per. Again a composition that makes good use of including a fisherman. The afternoon light does its best to accentuate the details and vivid colors of the pleasant view at the best.
I think Luxembourg is right to put this into. Take a more illustrous example such as a photo of the Manhattan skyline taken from New Jersey - I think it should be filed under NYC and not under Hoboken or whichever other place it was shot from.

Hola Per.
This is a beautiful picture, i like the strong colours of the river in contrasts with the colours of the houses and sky. The boy fishing with the longest fishing pole i have ever seen give you a very good perspective.
Good POV, colours and sharpness.
Well done and TFS.

Great shot, Per!
It's both amusing and informative, and last but not least well captured. Nice sharpness and colours, and it's fantastic that you include the fishing boy in the foreground.
Thanks for sharing!
