Photographer’s Note

An other shot of the Pont Adolphe, in Luxemburgish Nei Brék (New bridge) The tower is part of the Caisse d'Epargne at the Place de Metz. In the early sixties the building on the right of the place de Metz was occupied by the ECSC (European Coal and Steel Community). Today the Caisse dEpargne occupes de building.
The picture was taken in RAW format. Postprocessing, not extensive, in Adobe CS.

Très belle photo, j'aime beaucoup la luminosité,le jeu d'ombres et lumières est bien réussi et le contraste du background fait bien ressortir l'avant plan, bien vu.

Effectful well made compo you present here. The fine fall colours as a contrast to the grey clouds balance very well. The diagonal with the bridge is good for the compo. Well done.

Nice composition and colour John. The one thing bothering me is the tilted angle of the tower. I've added a workshop to straighten it.

John hij is prachtig.
De schitterende kleuren, hele goede lijnen, van Uw schitterende stad. Ik neem aan dat U hem ook gecropt hebt, nu, als dit is gebeurd vind ik hem zeer goed gelukt, anders trouwens ook. Erg goed werk

Ik denk dat dit een van uw beste is John, volgens mij een perfecte hoek van waaruit deze foto gemaakt, het gebouw volledig meegenomen op de achtergrond met zijn prachtige bouwstijl, the herfst kleuren krijgen we er gratis bij, John deze is fantastisch. Proficiat.

La tour penche légèrement, c'est à cause de l'optique lorsque l'appareil est incliné légèrement vers le haut.
Ce n'est pas grave.
Les couleurs sont magnifiques et la luminosité procure un bel effet à la composition.

Je vois que toi aussi tu avais un temps pluvieux John! Malgré ce ciel menaçant, tu as une belle éclaircie te permettant d'avoir des couleurs vives et contrastées. La PDC est parfaite.

Good that you take us on the full tour of Luxembourg city, where I live, while I go cycling round the countryside looking for subjects, John. The grass is always greener.....eh! This one is of course a classic and should encourage a lot of people to visit. I saw that the slight tilt was corrected in a WS.

Excellent point of view and composition. The bridge half included, leading into the picture is well chosen. Nice scene with natural colors and good details on the buildings.

like it! I don't really see anything wrong with this picture. I love the different colors this photo has. mist sky, the golden jungle , the bridge archand building perfectly mix .
