Photographer's Note
St. Johann Neumuenster.
I had started a little series about this beautiful place. Today I would like to present the beautiful place in total. The last days I had present you the Church and Wenzelsmauer with the beautiful bridge over the river Alzette. (Wenzelsmauer, St. Johann Neumuenster)
Some of you ask me for the point of view. Have a look to the spotting point in the workshop.
Third part of the note:
On the bank of the river Alzette the village Grund, Clausen and Pfaffenthal are located, which were inhabited already in early times. Craftsmen using the water of the river settled here.

Hi Achim, i think that the image should be much better if you cropped out all the buildings and the trees.
just that beautiful geometrical floor of the square and the lonely man in the middle.
maybe with a sepia or b/w conversion.
thanks, ciao

Hi Achim,
I've looked to your WS this is great class, very fine picture, I find yous WS better than this picture, totally something other here, absolutely not bad, with one man middle on this very great square, the geometrical floor make this picture good. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
John.

Guten Tag Achim
I like the high pov & repetition of the geometric patterns & shapes of the multitude of squares. Wonderful colour & sharpness with reasonable lighting. Tfs!

Hallo Achim,

You certainly got an excellent bird's eye view. The light looks strong and hardly any shadows cover the large square. I like the WS too; it looks like there were people there taking the same view as this.

Achim,
Excellent photo from this very interesting place. Nice the floor details. Was a nice idea to get the photo with the person there.

Hi Achim
Looks like a giant board in the thumbnail. I feel the building on the left can be cropped..but the composition is beautiful with the dot of the man in the centre of the geometric floor. Well seen & taken

Having a single person in the middle exact centre of the square has enhanced the visual appeal greatly, god pov.

Hi Achim,
Very nice geometrical composition with excellent details. I think it could be better with the building in background but i like it.
TFS and greetings,

I had the same association as Paula. It looks like a huge chessboard with one "king" left walking over the huge squares. This single person was really necessary to give a meaning to this shot. You got a good POV and an interesting framing.

Hi Achim, this is nice, the checkerboard enormous square dwarves that little person in the middlen and to be honest, I would have preferred him ( I think it's a him) more to one of the sides. The strong light turns the trashcans and their shadows into nice elements in the photo. The yellow buildingz=s with the people in front of it, do the rest.

Sehr nette Komposition. Der Mann in der Mitte gibt dem Bild natürlich den besonderen Touch.
