Picture is showing an inside view of the new veranda of the station of Luxembourg which opened last year. I like the play with lights and shadows ...

Hello Jean Claude,
I like the lines and curves of the new roof and its shadows on the floor. It was a very good idea to include the couple in the foreground. A railway station is made for people and it would look very empty without some. The light and colours are very pleasant and I also enjoy the view of the church throughthe glass roof.

Ciao Jean Claude

well chosen POV for this scene and nice composition. The pavement leads an eye and the roof with all its amazing pattern draws attention to the upper part of the image. Very smartly placed pedestrians who add some human element to the picture. Pretty and natural colors and well given sharpness.

Looking at the thumbnail and reading the title of the picture, I thought this had to be new.
And indeed it is. Wonderful architecture!
The many beautiful undulating lines of the roof provide curiously linear shadows on the floor and on the wall.
Best regards, Paul

Bonsoir Jean Claude

Well done for finding a superb photo opportunity. An interesting image with potential, quite graphic in nature and balanced as the combination of lines, shapes and shadows offers so many possibilities. The shadows on the walkway also mimicking the ceiling structures they are thrown from. I like the framing by keeping the vanishing point central as you have done here. The effect is stronger by positioning of the persons closer who blend in to the structure and provide scale. I like the colour too, may also work in mono. Very well done shot, Congrats.

Good morning JC,
exceptional the new veranda of the station of Luxembourg, that is covered from glass letting the sun light to enter in it and to protect the visitors from the rain. The passing by couple adds life in the scene.Well done.

Interesting inside view of the station shelter's unique roof - curving metal tube framework with lots of glass.
A very attractive station environment for the public.
