Photographer’s Note
This was just trying out a new lens for my Sony R1. A Close up lens VCL-M3367. Personnally I am rather pleased with the result, although I hear comments asking what this is doing here. Well, let's say I just wanted to celebrate the (late) arrival of Spring in Luxemburg.

Nice sign of spring. Good work with the extra lens. I like the way you have arranged for the dark backgroung with the faint leaves and no "background noise". To bad the top flower run out of focus a bit. Can't have everything.
Happy spring John.

Hi John,
Groetjes

Hi John!
Except a little burn problem on the upper part of the flower, this low-light macro is just wonderful..Nice colours, beautiful details of the flower and nicely focused on your theme..Great job my friend..Bravo..
Have a nice night,

Hi John,
A well composed macro shot heralding spring - and it is perfectly appropriate for the shot on TE. The slight overexposure does not materially detract, in my view, as with the dark background and the large format presentation, the scene betokens the advent of sun and warmth and life...There is much joie de vivre here. Well done.
John
