Photographer’s Note

Lultzhausen is a small village of Luxembourg, along the lake of the Haute Sure. There you can walk in the surrondings on a "Carvings path" (4 km long) where you see carvings made in a symposium in 1999. This carving work is called "the angel".

Lultzhausen est un petit village luxembourgeois, au bord du lac de la Haute Sûre. Une possibilité de balade est ce sentier des sculptures de 4 km qui vous permet d'admirer plusieurs oeuvres d'art créées en 1999 lors d'un symposium.

Simple yet powerful shot. The rough monument (placed quite nicely in your shot) and the rolling hills make for an interesting contrast.

Fine view of this interesting carving showing it in its context. Good control over depth of field and exposure; I like how it stands out against that beautiful blue sky. Nice tones and good sharpness.
