Esch sur Sure Photo

Photographer’s Note

After Clevaux we went to Esch upon Sure (Esch sur Sure), the weather was getting greyish that's why you can't see the sky here:)
We walked down the staircase and came across some kind of "waiters' competition", admiring men trying not to lose glasses of water out of their trays:) Great contest, especially that some of the drinks cost 4 euros:)
The villige is inhabited by 314 people according to Wikipedia, it's divided by two hills, so to get to the other part of the ruins you have to walk down and then again up - great exercise especially after a few T..... sunrises:)
Esch is also a place where you can admire the meander of the river Sure which is the affluent of the Moselle.
And the most important place is the castle or better to say - RUINS - the castle was built in about 10th century, it was ruined in 17th century and at present there are only two towers left and the surroundings.

I highly recommend this village, it's peaceful and quiet, especially that the whole traffic was lead through the tunnel.

A very attractive composition with the light houses and this beautiful bridge reflected in the calm water surface. The green background is also very good here in this picture1

Zdaje się że niebo nie było najciekawsze - bardzo słusznie że zrezygnowałaś z umieszczenia go w kadrze uzyskując interesujący kontrastowy obraz z przepiękną głąboką zielenią stanowiącą kontrapunkt dla jasnych domków. Odbicia urocze. Udana Praca

Gosia,
Your composition is great here with the reflection adding depth and balance for the scene. Your POV is great shooting toward the point of the V which is created by the bridge and wall. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness and detail.

Sharpness, exposure, dof and colors are excellent!
The pov was the best choice for this extremely effective and quite attractive composition: I love all those architectural details, specially the bridge, all the surrounding green and, of course, that eye-catching symmetrical reflection!

Widac bylo pochmurno z bialym niebem bo budynki w takim irlandzkim swietle, dlatego swietna decyzja zeby pozbyc sie nieba i skupic na architekturze. Mocno podkrecona zielen i ta u gory i ta w odbiciu robi dobre tlo. Samo odbicie bardzo fajne. Innymi slowy ladnie dopracowane zdjecie. Czarna ramka dobrze wzmacnia nastroj.
