Monastery of Clervaux Photo

Photographer’s Note

The city is surmounted by the abbey St.Maurice and St.Maur, founded in 1909 by the Benedictines of Solesmes. Destroyed during the second world war, the abbey was rebuilt in 1945. The church abbitiale is preceded by a beautiful hexagonal tower, strongly resembling the tower of the abbey of Cluny. The crypt of the church shelters an exposure on the monastic life to the 20th S.

Une autre vue intéressante de Clervaux avec ces touches rouges qui mettent bien relief l'architecture de cette jolie petite abbaye.

Le rouge est un peu saturé, mais l'image est plaisante et intéressante.
Je tentre tout de meme un WS pour le cadrage et les couleurs

Nice object, good composition and perspective. It is a pitty it is not sharper. However I like minimalistic colors.

It looks like they painted the red parts just for you. They contrast beautiful against the dark bricks.

Very nice composition with great perspective. The over-saturated red roofs make a very strong contrast with the dark grey walls. Very nice work!!

C'est fou comme cette couleur de tuile ressort et contraste avec ce ciel bien blanc.
Bonne perspective et profondeur avec cette route qui nous guide au travers de ta photo.
