Vilnius-Church of St Peter and St Paul.
The brick Church of St Peter and St Paul was built from 1667 to 1676 by hetman M. K. Pacas to cel-ebrate the liberation of Vilnius from the Russians. The building is "calm" from the outside. It is built after the Latin model, a building in the form of a cross and having a dome and two rather smali towers. The fence surrounding the churchyard and the four chapels were built in the second half of 17th century. The square in front of the church is referred to as the square of John Paul II to celebrate the Pope's visit in Lithuania.
The most valuable is the interior of the church done mostly in white. White decorations - sculptures, relief’s, panels - cover all the walls, arches, the dome, and chapels. The number of images picturing people figures and faces alone is about two thousand. The people images are grouped to form scenes from the New Testament, the life of Saints and the history of Lithuania. The forms of the sculptures have had almost no changes from the time they were created.

No, nareszcie coś optymistycznego i mi się zaraz Brahms przypomniał, jak go krytykowali, że komponuje same smutne kawałki, więc napisał "Z radością zstępuję do grobu".
Fajne zdjęcie, opracowane jak grafika.

Now this is something that I have never seen in a church before, but it's not out of place. The pure white makes it hard to see the shapes at first, but then when you get used to it you can see the details and forms. Nice work!

Witaj,

Pewnie to efekt zamierzony, ale wolałabym trochę bardziej wyraźne. A ubawił mnie ten Pacas w notce. W katedrze jest obraz, gdzie ktoś ma trzy ręce. ale ja nie mogłam się tego dopatrzyć. Masz może?

To jest fajne.
Mnie ostatnio do bieli bardzo ciagnie (brak sniegu w Paryzu), wiec to mi bardzo odpowiada.

O, matko! To tak ma być...? Światło tak daje po oczach! Nie za dużo tej jasności! Ale może w duszy "mistrzunia" artyzm jakiś się narodził?! A ta biała dama bardzo mi się podoba! Fajna laska!
