Photographer's Note

Trakai is a symbol of Lithuanian tourism like Venice in Italy, or St. Petersburg in Russia. Similarly Trakai was a former state of governor residence, the city have held many important cultural and historical events. And like Venice or St. Petersburg, Trakai is a city on the water. The only difference is that it is not near the sea but surrounded by lakes.

Today Trakai castles are one of the most visited tourist sites in Lithuania, during the year it attracts up to 300 000visitors. In the environment of medieval castles variety of events, such as the day of ancient craft or knight tournaments and various concerts takes place. Chamber music concerts are often held in Uzutrakis where neorenaissance style Count J. Tiskevicius palace is surrounded by park designed by French landscape architect E. Andre

Hello Bernarda,
his is a perfect summer picture. Two nice blonde kids in the foregound sitting on a jetty watching the view of the castle, the lake and boats. It's a superb composition, the view is enchanting and the colours are well saturated.

Ciekawe ujecie zamku Trakai z dziecmi siedzacymi na pomoscie na pierwszym planie. Jak widac z twojego zdjecia zamek jest nie tylko turystyczna atrakcja a takze jezioro pelne milosnikow zeglarstwa.
Zdjecie to przypomnialo mi czasy kiedy tam bylem.

this looks like a perfect fairy tale castle. the two girls appear to be dreaming about a handsome prince who lives there! the light is fantastic and has created some lovely luminous colours, which are reflected beautifully in the water.

Podoba mi sie Twoja prezentacja tego zamku. Zazwyczaj wiekszosc fotografow koncentruje sie na pokazaniu samej jego sylwetki, Ty zrobilas inaczej - umiescilas w kadrze postacie zapatrzonych w dal kobiet oraz to sliczne jezioro. Calosc nabrala zupelnie innego wyrazu...
