Photographer’s Note

Wide angle view of cloudy sky, seen on the road from Marcinkonys to Musteika, one of the most remote areas of Lithuania, located in Dzukija National Park.
The flat area on the ground is an abandoned fish farm, slowly turning into swamp.

Taken at 16:25 facing east.
Camera settings: 14 mm zoom, AV mode, ISO-200.
Converted from raw with color temperature set to 5300K. Slightly darkened blue and brightened yellow color, increased contrast of the sky.

Hi Linas,

Its a very nice landscape photography. I am also very intrigued by these kinds of clouds, which usually turn out very well with a wide-angle camera.
The landcape is really similar to Lolland in Southern Denmark, where I'm situated right now. Actually I took some similar pictures yesterday. Perhaps I'll upload one, even though the quality can hardly compete which the excellent picture, you've presented here.

Great sky, it remembers me my trips to Estonia where similar views of green, blue and those magnificent clouds could often been seen.
You captured this photo really good. Nice composition and light.

Hello Linas

I like the minimalist composition of this image, that is the very narrow strip of land at the bottom. The sky is thus emphasized and it is a truly spectacular one.

Getting clouds right isn't easy (for me anyway!).

Really nice composition I just love those clouds, the depth is just stunning like an HDR layered photo
The impression is that of a relatively summery day but with the weather threatening something not sure what but just something.
One point i would mention is the ground seems rather lost by comparison just a bit weak
