Photographer’s Note

The most famous of all the summer resorts in Lithuania, Palanga is a charming small town by the Baltic Sea coast with sand dunes, beaches and health spas as well as with lively nightlife. Known as the summer capital of Lithuania, Palanga is a peaceful destination during the winter, but comes fully alive during the summer months.
The central place of the beach is Palanga Pier, a popular place for watching the sun set above the Baltic Sea.

Hi Oleg,
wonderful pier! I know it very well: when I stayed in Palanga for 3 weeks in July, each evening we went to see the sunsets there, we walked right to the very end of the pier. You chose an excellent POV. And the colours and light management are really impressive.
