Photographer's Note
Elizabeth II visiting students of Vilnius university, a sequel of this picture.
I was excited to see the famous Queen from such a small distance, but I must admit, I was more excited having the opportunity to capture the moment.
What I liked in the composition picture as a whole was how nicely and somewhat meaningfully the faces have aligned. You can see the Queen, then the President of Lithuania upper right and then a lady from the Queen's escort, probably feeling so important among all those people. I also really liked the vivacious smile on the face of the person in the left side. It's a pitty I do not know who he, nor the lady are.
Faces with caps in the very background belong to academics of the university. (It was said to the Queen, the oldest in Eastern Europe, running since 1579).
What I did not like in the picture is the shadow on the face of the Queen. Of course, it is hard to avoid when she is wearing a hat, but that does not look too professional of an excuse anyway, does it?
Besides, did you know she is also the Queen of Canada!
I did not.

Hello Paulius,
Thanks sharing your photo,
Not easy to capture in such a crowd.
Would not like to tackle the heavy security man on top left of your photo.
Regards,Rob.

Sveikas Paulius!
It is interesting to see here all those different faces, including the security (body guard) people!
I've got also a picture of Vytautas Landsbergis during my visit to Vilnius in 1995, but my camera was of poor quality.
