Photographer’s Note
St. Paraskeva Church
Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania with population of over 0.5 million. The old town. Many churches and other building built in 13th-19th centuries. St. Paraskeva's Orthodox Church in the Old Town is the site of the baptism of Hannibal, the great-grandfather of Pushkin, by Tsar Peter the Great in 1705.
And I had the luck to see a marriage on this day

Hi Achim,
I think is not easy to shoot an hidden church with many obstructions from every side, nice to see somethings outside the wall, I like this old church seem as new paint in soft color, thanks for sharing.

Hallo Achim!
Grüße aus Siegen, wo es schneit!

Bonjour, mon ami Achim,
Ah oui ! belle église orthodoxe qui ressort très bien malgré le temps pluvieux.
Je voudrais bien aussi pouvoir assister à un mariage (us et coutumes).
Un grand merci du partage.
Amitiés.

Achim,
This is a nicely composed shot of the colorful church. The angle of the shot gives the scene nice depth while the trees frame the church beautifully. The sky is a bit overexposed but that could not be avoided in this light.

Hi Achim,
The fence is framing well the church. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the church. The picture is clear and sharp. The cloudy sky is filtering the light which is enhancing the colors and giving them a good contrast. have a nice day.

Hi Achim,
As your shot shows this church is fully restored now. Thirty years ago, when I was to Vilnius, it was not so beautiful and interesting on colors. You have managed capturing the church and its surroundings very well. Perfectly good job!
Best regards,
Sergiy
