Trakai Island Castle is situated on an island in Lake Galve which freezes over in winter. The castle was constructed between 14th and 15th century.

Beautiful shot from rarely seen Lithuania, Kasia. The scene would be nice without the gliders, as its an attractive castle in a good, wide open winter scene, but obviously the figures in the sky are central and really effective elements. The yellow glider offers a nice color offset too, in the opposite corner of the castle, balancing the steel gray and the rest of the shot nicely. Thanks!

Hi Kasia,

As I scroll down, I see only the castle in panoramic and that looks very good in itself without the paragliders in the sky. It adds another dimension with gliders in the sky. The big open sky also give a sense of openess and freedom. The warm color of hte calstle spice up the cold atmosphere. REally beautiful photo and a good composition and good technical quality. Thanks.

Witaj Kasiu, Piekny zamek w Trokach, ciekawie wyglada w zimie. to musi byc ekstra przezycie tak latać na lotni, ale to nie dla mnie. Kiedys dawnio temu zatrzymałam sie w marnym hotelu , ale polozonym przy końcu tego mostka. Ale miałam widok!
Ładny kadr, miłe delikatne zdjecie.

Czesc Kasiu,
super kompozycja.Piekny,sredniowieczny zamek i paralotniarze szybujacy w powietrzu.Naprawde wyjatkowe i zarazem malownicze zestawienie.Znakomicie skadrowana scena.Podoba mi sie rowniez przyciagajacy uwage kontrast kolorystyczny pomiedzy zolta paralotnia a otoczeniem.Niby maly element,a jednak wnosi duzo do calosci kompozycji.

PS.do HongKongu lece juz w poniedzialek 21.01.Juz sie nie moge doczekac:)

ladnie prezetuje sie ten zamek w zimowej sceneri,chociaz jak na moj gust kolorki troche blade zrobilem poprawke ale moge dopiero jutro ja dodac do Werkshopu moze ci sie spodoba,pozdrawiam

Hello Kasia,
a wonderful picture of the fairytale like scenery and the paragliders who enjoy it from above. They enrich the scene and I like very much how you adjusted the view and composition to include them and gave depth to the picture using them and not the foreground, an original and very delightful effect. So now you start speaking french, I have seen on your last comment to me.
Very pleasing winter shot with a great framing, having the castle in the corner and include so much of the beautiful sky, gives the composition a good sense of scale.
The two paragliders just add a touch of dynamic to the shot and complement the picture beautifully.
