Be2gether Festival is the largest musical and artistic festival in Baltic region countries, takes place near the medieval Lithuanian Norviliskes castle, close to Belarus borderline.
Festival is set in unique surroundings of Dieveniškės, which are environed by Belarus. There are five ancient pathways of Dieveniskes leading to Vilnius (The capital of Lithuania). Local environment fascinates everyone with it’s nature surroundings and exclusive atmosphere, bearing in mind the fact of cultural promiscuity of Lithuanian, Belarusian, Polish and Russian. All these cultures related to the same history, because of united The Great Duchy of Lithuania.
Local people are restricted by the borderline which marks a margin among the European Union and the last European dictatorship country, but people still smile, love and feel sadness, despite the different political system. Therefore, festival’s organizers trying to put their efforts to create an opportunity for Belarus people to be involved in such great event to make sense of being free with others for a couple of fascinating and charming days. Besides, it is one of the aim to cherish friendship between different cultures.
More then 70 bands from ten countries took part at the second festival on the 14th-17th of August, 2008. Among them was Tricky (GB), Fools Garden (Germany), Infected Mushroom (Israel), Armada Groove (GB), Fishbone (USA), NRM (Belarus)…
