[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For my last post of this latest trip I wanted to suggest the quiet beauty of Neringa, the spit that separates the huge Kursiu Marios, one of the many lagoons running along the coast of the Southern Baltic, from the sea. There's only two ways to get to Neringa, either by ferry from Klaipeda, or through the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad, which requires visas in advance. It's aso a national park, and requires additinal payment to drive along it, so it tends to be rather exclusive and secluded. I spent one night at the lagoon side village of Pervalka.

Hi Richard,

a beautiful, peaceful photo. I really like the sense of unbroken calm here suggested by the still water and total lack of human presence aside from this manmade boat.

Hi Richard, not many people refer to her, she's been gone for a long time, but this one reminds me very much of Sunny's pictures. She always was able to create her own special mood with those lonely small boats, and you vreate the same atmosphere here. Very nice!
