Photographer’s Note

The Gutenberg castle is the most impressive castle of Liechtenstein.
Situated on a hilltop over Balzers, it guards the southern entrance to this tiny country, culminating over the Rhine valley and facing the swiss castles on the other side. It was first mentioned in 1263 but probably has been built during the XIth century.
