Photographer’s Note
When I visited Vaduz, the capital of the tiny principality Liechtenstein, some weeks ago, I came across this impressive bronze sculpture in the pedestrian area there. It’s about 2 m high and it’s called “African King”. It's an artwork of the German artist Gunther Stilling.
For me it somehow shows the status of our today’s world ...
In the workshop you can see it from another angle.
Using the map view function at the left you can zoom in (please click several times at +) exactly into the Vaduz pedestrian area. You also can see - a little bit east of it - the buildings of the principal castle in the forest. It is situated on a rockface high above the city and this artwork. You can see it here.

Hallo Frank,
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Hello Frank,
It is, is what the visage of present world in large measure is relative to abilities of man to changing of circumjacent of him realities. Through thousands of years this influence was not too large and was rather conforming with the rhythm of the nature. The civilization explosion taking place on our eyes changes the hitherto existing visage of the world. The surely this picture shows this process. Is in this photo something, what through to artistic vision of Gunther Stilling brings near us the appearance of present world.
Best regards from cool Poznan,
Jurek

Frank, la statue est très belle et ta photo est excellente. La lumière et les ombres détachent les reliefs de cette tête de belle façon. Une photo qui ne laisse pas indifférent.

Hello Frank!
It's a good composition of an artistic work amidst the functionality of the town. Your capture is very sharp and detailed despite the difficult diffuse light.
Two weeks later I was flying over that place on my way to London - I hope some day we'll meet somewhere in our beautiful Europe and take a few photos together...
Greetings!
Anton
