Photographer’s Note

When I visited Vaduz, the capital of the tiny principality Liechtenstein, some weeks ago, I came across this impressive bronze sculpture in the pedestrian area there. It’s about 2 m high and it’s called “African King”. It's an artwork of the German artist Gunther Stilling.
For me it somehow shows the status of our today’s world ...

Using the map view function at the left you can zoom in (please click several times at +) exactly into the Vaduz pedestrian area. You also can see - a little bit east of it - the buildings of the principal castle in the forest. It is situated on a rockface high above the city and this artwork. You can see it here.
