Snapped on a lonely wander around Riga. The rain was just picking up as I stood at the very far end of the platform to catch this train.

I like these sorts of scenes, the compression of a telephoto vantage point where the distance all melts into one. The overhead mess of wires and their corresponding tracks make for an excellent backdrop... it's a pity the train didn't pick one of the other tracks since it's also obscured by the mess as well. That's really my only niggle-- everything else about this scene (even the weather, I am one who enjoys rain) I like very much.

Hi Lewis,
Tele shots work especially well along rails.
I like the mess of wires, numbered points and POV revealing small imperfections on the rails.
Yes, the train is sort of on the wrong side, but never mind.
