This installation piece in the main square of Riga has numerous rotating, mirrored surfaces. It's a cool piece in itself, but, additionally, it reflects passing people, a medieval square, art nouveau roof lines and modern architecture in constantly reconfigured forms. It's like looking at a city through a kaleidoscope! I especially like the way that this piece jumbles all the roof lines of buildings in all 360 degrees.

Welcome to TE! It is exciting to welcome new members, a new set of lenses to see the world through and a new set of eyes to review the work of our lenses.
In my relatively short (< 1 yr) membership I found out that reflections is a favorite theme here. You have a beautiful example for that theme. The kaleidoscope effect is truly remarkable. I think it was a good idea to include the banister behind which you were taking this photo. It gives a sense of foundation, of orientation in this otherwise jumbled world.

Well observed and finely presented. I like this kaleidoscope. And I missed such an opportunity to make a nice photo! I went by the installation many times, it was very close to my hotel and I didn't see its potential. Is it the beginning of your adventure on TE?
Warm regrads MAlgo
