Photographer’s Note
In the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum
This country living house was built in Roja fishermen's village (Talsi ditrict) in the 1840s; brought to the museum in 1983. The external and internal forms of the structure reflect the features of country architecture of the middle of the 19th century confined to Kurzeme coastline. The building has two divisions - communicative space with casing chimney and the living end with several smaller subdivisions.
