Photographer’s Note
Here you see a pastorate of Lenas, built in 18th century. It has a lot of interesting ancient wooden building details, it is very cosy and beautiful inside. This was the house, where lived the two last Kurzeme bishops, and both of them are buried in Lenas church (which is behind me in this picture).
The house is not inhabited and the roof may soon start collapsing. Few people are living in this remote place...

I like the soft image of this photo. It has a nice misty, calming feel to it. Although the flash was left on, I like the movement of the snowflakes falling. Nice composition with the pathway that leads the eye to the front door.
