Photographer’s Note

Sorry to interrupt my reportage from Rundale palace. But yesterday I got one more travel to the Northern Latvia, and some pictures were quite interesting. Here you see majestic Salaca river and one of numerous sandstone cliffs at this river. This cliff has got some 10 m high and 6 m deep grotto, which reminds entrance into gothic church. Hence it's name - Angel's grotto.

My two girls were looking over my shoulder when this opened and they said,"Wow!"

I like the colours and the reflections, this is a nice PoV for this landscape feature and the framing is good.

The place in the pic is strange.The curved lines in stones are strong elements in thus shot.The reflection is captured very well.the semi-cave in center of pic is a strong element,too.well done.

The scene in itself is very interesting in terms of photography.The colours are nice and the picture sharp but I would have put the horizontal line level and taken the shot more side ways if possible.
