The small world of Spigi cave Photo

Photographer’s Note

To access this cave you should go some kilometers through bush. Area is very flat and this small cave comes as surprise. It is only some 6 m long, consists of fragile sandstone, and has shallow lake inside, powerful spring comes out of it.

I like the reflection of the ceiling in the water. The texture of the stone looks nice but I keep wanting to see what the rest of the opening looks like.

Contrast masking would work nicely to bring out the texture of the stone even more. I've attempted a workshop using it on this photo.

i like the shapes in this image a lot. almost an abstract. would be curious in seeing a vertical framing to show more above the cave and more of the reflection. both seem almost truncated for my eye. colors are wonderful and very interesting cave entrance.
