Photographer’s Note
Latgale is one of Latvia's four regions, and these regions are very different.
We went on as small tour to see what it was like, and this panorama is a good representation of part of the landscape. Latgale is also know for it's lakes and forest.
The region is the poorest in Latvia, and one of the last places where people for instance sporadicly use horses for agrgiculture. In the summer, lots of Latvians come here in the weekends, to get away from the big cities.
