Photographer’s Note
This photo is taken as i travelled to Latgale region, district Kraslava, which is near the EU border with Russia and Whiterussia.
Lanscape around there is very colourful. Population is rare, that's why there are large agruculture fields with just few single houses. Houses are painted with bright colours.
I've used film camera with Fuji Velvia ISO 50, which makes the colours bright as You can see in the photo.

Welcome on TE
Nice shot but too red...
I think too saturated...for me
Have a good day.

This is a really good shot, with beautiful colours and a very picturesque landscape.
I think your composition is good; the road leading into the distance draws the eye into the frame, and the line of telegraph poles gives the scene a feeling of depth.
Good work.

welcome to TE
I would agree with a little over saturated. You can add more green tonal as its almost dark

Hello Ilze. I love the road and the poles leading over the little hill into the forest. The houses are very well lit and clear. The sky is interesting but I think the colour is a little artificial coming from the scan - maybe too much saturation. However, the composition is lovely.

Hi Ilze,
welcome to TE. This is a lovely composition for your first post, perhaps a tinge of red in there but more than compensated for with the fantasic sky. The POV is excellent and I like the road and telegraph disappearing into the distance. A good capture.

Ciao Ilze,
Welcome to TE,
it is a beautiful composition, but the colours are over saturated. Thanks for the good note and your explanation about the processing.
Hope to see more of these beautiful landscapes, I also like Latgale very much.

Hello Ilze,
first let me welcome you to TE. I hope you will like it as much as I do! This is a tremendous start! I hope we'll have the opportunity to see more!
I think you've already been told that it looks a bit saturated: film, scan or pp, I don't know. But you can see it in the clouds, which have a strong cyan and blue cast in it. But to be completely honnest, I see nothing wrong with it!:)
I like how we feel the slopes! The poles on the right, the houses, the trees and the clouds are very well composed. I think you did a very nice job!!Congratulation!

Hello Ilze,
Thanks for your generous comments, that allowed me to discover your gallery. So first, let me welcome you on Trekearth; I hope to see a lot of your photos, from Latvia or around.
This one is quite interesting and attractive, with oblique road leading into the image. Good composition with impresive sky.
Cheers!
André
