Photographer’s Note

"Strangers in the night exchanging glances
Wond’ring in the night
What were the chances we’d be sharing love
Before the night was through.
Something in your eyes was so inviting,
Something in you smile was so exciting,
Something in my heart,
Told me I must have you."

Everything was strange in that day - sky, clouds, ice-fishing fans in hope to catch last fish from lake, what is already started to thaw.

Maybe – the influence from solar eclipse?

Hi Ivars...
A very special landscape, captured in almost B&W... I agree, the mood is strange!
They should probably stop fishing right away, as there is water on top of the ice... never a good sign!
Well composed, excellent definition... Interesting, and well done!

This is a great shot. Your poetry is making it totally different in meaning and sense.
The clouds and the snow influenced by the reflection where it is visible is looking great.

Hi Ivars,
Although there is no central focus, this shot works very well. The overall ambience flows through the scene with wonderful lighting and shadow effects, as well as reflections and textures. The scene resembles a watercolour painting. Very fine work, Ivars.
