Our country has the most beautiful winter this year – snow and sun playing together…

Photo made near place - "Zvartas iezis" is one of the most picturesque detrition of Devon period rocks in Latvia. Length 200 m, heigth till 44 m. Sandstone bluff arched in semicircle. River-bed at Zvārtas Iezis had been straightened out in 30-ties of the 20th century to preserve the mighty sandstone clief of destruction caused by river-bed erosion. 200 m from Zvārta wood, there is so-called Mazais (Small) Zvārtas Iezis (heigth 25 m).

Really nice winter view.
It's good that snow is so fresh and clear with no visible steps or other distractions.

Ivars,
This is a beautiful wintry scene. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The overhanging trees are great providing nice framing for the shot. The touch of blue sky adds wonderful contrast for this otherwise black and white shot.
