[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Somewhere in central Riga, I suppose that even this facade have gone trough the cinderella procedure as the rest of the town I think the adress is Avoto Iela somehing.
And if you are from Riga don't feel indignant because I show this picture.
I know that there is a lot of new fine buildings a restored old ones that maybe suite the tourist folder better, but this is my picture

Hello mate,
How are you!
Thank you for showing this older part of Riga in it's original stage!

Hi Anders,

when I read the title I thought it would be a colorful image but here you are presenting this not colorful but interesting architecture. Very nice details and textures. I like your vision for this scene. Well done!
Regards,
Carlos

Hi Anders,
I like your title. Before opening the picture I was expecting a real flower on some hard to detect corner. Shows that some graffiti makers have softer side. Very nice shot made with almost all grey colors. Building is clearly waiting for renovation. I wonder if that day comes soon.

Hi Anders!

Excellent composition and framing (allthough a little cropping on the right side would make it more balanced), great graphical result and great light managment! I wish that it would be possible to upload larger images in TE, so we could enjoy more the details you describe in your note!

Hej Anders,
A rather pretty building in spite of its drabness. The decay has created some fantastic patterns on the façade and the graffiti flowers are perfect additions. Well observed.

Gert

hej Anders,
I have no idea whether this particular building has been renovated or not, but you're right, in the last couple of years Riga has had a MAJOR face-lift :) and even though there still are many buildings like this, for me Riga has always been and will always remain the most beautiful city in the world :))
I agree with Hercules that it would be great to see larger version of this photo, the patterns and textures are really great with the red door adding a colour accent.

with best regards,
Kristine

Hej Anders,
I like t´he almost monocromatic photo you created here. The flowers gives a reminder of the life outside a momocromatic environment...(did you get it? I didn't ;)
