This photo was taken in Saulkrasti - the town closer to the Sun. Saulkrasti could be well characterized by its blazon: it includes four rivers: Inčupe, Pēterupe, Ķīšupe and Aģe. The town is famous for its beautiful, virgin nature and beaches, as a nice place to spend a summertime. On the photo you can see place where the Pēterupe river flows into the Baltic Sea.
Camera - Yashica Mat 124G, 6x6.
Film - Ilford Delta 100.

Respect. For using a 6x6. That is quite a bit of work, developing, drying, scanning etc etc. And Ilford Delta is wonderful material. A slight but warm grain to it. I love it already for the choice of medium!
I've been taking my Nikon F5 with Ilford 400 or Agfa APX100 black and white film out of the box lately. Nice results for sure, but the process is quite challenging.
Keep on going like this!

Beautiful place and beautiful work. Very finely crafted. There is a wonderful tonality and the composition epitomizes so well the : less is more. A zen like mood, and subtle winter light. Compliments.
Thanks for sharing.

a great graphic POV given by the mouth of this river, in a curve. That's a simple composition but it works well. Good use of the B&W I think.
