End of Summer Photo

Photographer’s Note

Seems a long time ago now, but just over a week ago it was still summer in the Baltics, 20 degress at this seaside resort, with people on the beach sun bathing.

I'm always fascinated by the architecture here.

I guess you're referring to the older buildings here ;)
Yeah, seems a long time ago, all day rain, darkness coming sooner even then. . . .
About the photo; simple and effective, nothing spectacular.
Jurmula is always a nice place to see people or to get seen, it would be nice if this was more included in the photo.

I find this very...moving somehow, Richard, there is a gentle Tchekovian lyricism atwork here I feel, introduced by your title. I agree with Davids when he says "nothing spectacular" but the way all the elements fit is really quite artful - a savvy capture.
