The semi-enclosed and sensitive Baltic Sea is affected by a combination of natural, unfavorable conditions - the shape of the seabed, the limited water exchange with adjacent seas, the formation of salinity and temperature barriers between surface water and bottom water - and the continuous pressure of pollution and overexploitation from human activities. The state of the Baltic Sea marine habitat is a reflection of a mix of natural factors beyond human control, and detrimental effects of deliberate human activites on land and at sea. (www.envir.ee)

this is a nice photo. lots of great movement. b&w is an interesting choice, many people would have taken the colour option!

i would have liked a sharper focus to this photograph. it would have made the photo cleaner. potentially, the ripples in the breaking surf, the girl's hair and body, her shadow, all would have looked amazing if the focus had been cleaner.

Hello Alise. A really nice shot, I like how you places the girl in the frame, her awkward posture and her shadow. the b/w looks good as well... I think if you added some vignetting, it would enhance this old photo feel.

Hello Alise, I would like to have photos like this one when I was a child, with this it is all said... great composition and positioning of the girl going outside the photo after the action occurred...
