Barbele springs
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It was raining when I visited these springs some 60 km south from Riga.
These poverful springs contain hydrogensulphur. Already in 17th century this water was used fur curing. Today it is silent there, just some surrounding farms use this water.
________
Postprocessing - Selective Colour - in Neutrals the Black was increased per some 30%. The grass became more green. This is a little spoof... but I like green colour very much ;) |

I wouldn't comment whether it is too green or not. Maybe it is just is.Still your processing didn't hurt a little the reflectivity of the water. But the tree gets in the way of making the spring the main subject. I suggest, I would take the picture from the other side, with the spring making at least 40% of your frame, and the tree as if "guarding" it. That way, the tree will lead the viewer into the spring. What do you think Gatis?
Very nice greens. Also like the composition. Simple but effective. Maybe if we could see a bit more to the right, or a have a bit cropped from the bottom it would be nice.
