Flood of Capoterra (Cagliari)

Friends of TE this is the witness and that Baddori and I we can give of flooding that hit the territory of Capoterra less than twenty km. from Cagliari.
On this occasion I would not score because I can say that I felt uncomfortable in making these pictures looking so desperate people and concurrently in the hard work of the shovel mud and debris that have invaded their case. All the towns of Sardinia was attended by volunteers and means to help the Civil Defense and large forces involved in relief.
From this experience I understand how the work of reportage should be cynical and I think that I would not have had the courage and the stomach to make this work.

The photograph of the bridge over the Rio S. Jerome a river torrents with no significant importance is a summary of what happened, you see the debris piled and you can understand that the flood wave was about 4 meters high. sufficient to cause a disaster for which the Sardinia region has prompted a state of calamity.
The responsibilities are very serious and as usual the neglect in the maintenance of blocked runoff and wild lots in the area of Poggio dei Pini was full of interest different about the treatment of the territory.

Thank you for your attention and I invite you to see in the WS other pictures of flooding.

A huge hello
