| This photo was taken in Praia a Mare, Italy, in the Deap South on the Tyrrhenian (western) side of the coast, where sites you just don't expect to see here, pop up surprisingly in every knook and cranny. This castle (massive in size) from a distance resides over the entire town of Praia a Mare. Built in the 16th century it has been restored and lavishly decorated by its owners. Praia a Mare, is one Calabria's most beautiful towns, residing on the border of Basilicata and Calabria, it's the next stop down the coast from Maratea. I highly recommend this town for people on their vacations in Italy to visit, because of the relaxed and un-pretensious feel it offers. It's not ridden with tourists, and equally if not more beautiful than any number of towns in Tuscany. I will post further pictures in upcoming day of this fabulous part of the country. You can also check out some more pics of the place at www.praiaamare.com . |

Quite an attractive setting, though I think its spoilt by including the car, and I think the colours are a bit soft. I have done a small workshop for your comparison, cheers Chris.
Indeed agree with Chris, it could be such a nice shot when you avoided the car, a few steps...
Really a pity of this picture, Jesse.
Next time, okay ?
I love the shades of pink. This is wonderful.
