Hi Jean!
Excellent composition with the trhee elements:boat,mountain and the sun.I like too the foreground with the little waves from the booat.The orange tones are wonderful and the sharpness is perfect.

Le vrai cliché pour sûr, mais qu'est-ce que c'est beau !
Toujours difficile à réaliser avec le soleil aussi haut et de face. Cette couleur orangée est merveilleuse et la composition nickel.

I was about to post a very similar picture yesterday. Same place, same time of the day, same volcano...
Here you also have a boat, which is a goo black point in the pictyre, to make a nice contrast with the rest.

this is a truly beautiful picture from one of the most amazing region of Italy. There's life in this picture, there's the taste and the scent of the beautiful Sicily and the charm of the Mediterranean sea. The orange gradient of the sky reflected in the water is the icing on the cake for this compo which works nicely and with all the elements so well placed. We have the boat placed on the left hand side, the fading sun almost in the middle and Filicudi on the right hand side..beautiful to see and beautiful to think that not so long time ago I was there enjoying the beauty of that land.
A very fine work indeed, I love it!

Bonsoir Jean,

Ce coucher de soleil donne des couleurs dorées au ciel et envoie ses rayons sur la mer. La prise de vue donne de la profondeur à l'image. La capture du mouvement des vagues est un atout à la composition. Une scène qui permet de relaxer et penser. Bonne soirée.

L'harmonie des tons de ce coucher de soleil est superbe, cela donne un très beau dégradé dans le ciel, les deux silhouette sont assurément un plus.
