| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This photo was taken in Vicenza, a city with many Palladio built palazzos. The very impressive tall and slim bell tower on the right (wide angle needed) is all that remains of a 12th century church. Palladio built the massive Basilica Palladiana over the old church in the 16th century. I left most of Palladio's church (extreme right) out of the photo in part to emphasise the bell tower in relation to the other buildings in Piazza dei Signori and partly because the light was so bright over the rest of the piazza, leaving the Basilica in deep shade. |
