Yes you can sail in Rome , for example at Villa Borghese's lake .

From Wikipedia : Villa Borghese is a large landscape garden in the naturalistic English manner in Rome, containing a number of buildings, museums (see Galleria Borghese) and attractions. It is the second largest public park in Rome (80 hectares or 148 acres) after that of the Villa Doria Pamphili. The gardens were developed for the Villa Borghese Pinciana ("Borghese villa on the Pincian Hill"), built by the architect Flaminio Ponzio, developing sketches by Scipione Borghese, who used it as a villa suburbana, a party villa, at the edge of Rome, and to house his art collection. The gardens as they are now were remade in the early nineteenth century.

Hallo Stefano!
Here I like especially this wonderful light. A light which causes this wonderful silvery leaves in the background, which makes these waterdrops dripping from the paddle visible ... which makes the whole scenery somehow light-hearted and lively. A beautiful photo!

Attaverso gli scatti di fotografi come te, sto imparando a conoscere Roma, dove sono stato in molte ma fuggevoli occasioni, riportando l'impressione di una città bella ma dispersiva, non facile da fruire. Invece su queste pagine ne scopro nuovi aspetti, alcuni quasi intimisti. Questa immagine poi ha doti tutte sue, come il controluce magnificamente controllato e l'allineamento delle barche.

molto carina questa foto delle barche nel laghetto di Villa Borghese. Molto valida la composizione, con tutte le barche in fila, accompagnata da un bellissimo contrasto di luce e colori.

Interesting almost incredible that this one is from the middle of the big city S. Good capture with a fine light and use of the river banks.
