Wow, very nice photo.
The lightning is very soft and the use of a narrow deep of field go well to provide a nice ambiance for this child view.
I do not know if it is your childrens, but it is a good familly portraits to be kept for memory.

Hi Paolo,
The girl his face, very impressive, like it is taken from a Botticelli painting. Also enhanced by the soft warm colours you have here. Something complete different than we see normally from you. You should put more accent on these kind of pictures, a great eye in seeing and making this.
I am really impressed to see this from you....a high class image and although the boy is nice, it's the girl her face what is really amazing me...perfect.

This is such a beautiful shot of childhood innocence! It reminds me of early 20th century paintings.
The well positioned children, their soft toned skin, the masses of wild flowers and the well chosen viewpoint, all combine to make this a charming shot. Well done!

The expressions captured are wonderful. I wonder what they are looking at with such interest; almost trepidation - a butterfly maybe. The overcast sky did you a favour here as the mood would be totally different with bright sunshine. I love how the small children are almost dwarfed by the grasses. The DOF you set was perfect and the detail in the foreground and the children is perfect. A wonderful image Paolo and one for you to treasure. Get it enlarged and framed!

Hi Paolo,
This is wonderful. I love the dreamy atmosphere and the soft pinkish and green pastel tones but what really makes it is the expressions of the children, particularly the girl with her wide round eyes and upward gaze. You can really sense her feeling of astonishment at the natural world, perhaps a passing butterfly. A beautiful image conveying the innocence of childhood.

... wow! La critica potrebbe finire qui, mi lasci senza parole. Credo che questa immagine abbia il suo motivo vincente nell'irrealismo: i bimbi sembrano due statue di porcellana nel mezzo di un diorama. E' una di quelle foto che ci fanno vedere dove si può arrivare con l'occhio e la tecnica e dunque ci spingono a migliorare.

I must say that i am jealous of the lens which you used for this one.
The light, the white balance and the tone mapping creates a magical atmosphere here. Not to say that, catching those chaotic dwarves in their all natural poses is a gret bonus. Bravo!

Beautiful. It seems to have been out of dream or are they Hansel & Gretel... (Grimm's tale) Out of their fairy tale? The bouquet on the background is perfect. The soft color and textures are great and help to add this fairy feeling.
