Flat of Roio, province of L'Aquila - altitude 800 m - an uncontaminated nature at 5 minutes from L'Aquila and 1 hour from Rome.
The village in backgroung is Poggio di Roio.
Roio is an agglomerate of villages, a time (before 1927) constituent common an independent one, called having Roio and center in fraction Poggio. The other fractions are Roio Piano, Colle of Roio and Santa Rufina, all disposed ones to the edges of the flat one of Roio, that it acts as from center of gravity of the agglomerate.
Complimenti Ludo.

Hi Ludo,
thank you for your uplifting and wonderful words. And also thank you for this wonderful shot. I love horses. They are so elegant. Its skin on spring background of green grass and yellow flowers is simply marvelous, so is its shadow embracing shadow of you. Such a lovely detail, it feels like he is your guardian. :)
Warm regards,
Jeri

Ciao Ludo,
Very nice warm light on the horse, ideally it should not be place with the nose on the frame border but considering the area behind it is well filled by the background village and this allows you to show better the light effect in the end it's a good compromise.
Have a nice day JY

Hi Ludo,
A very nice view of the hills and the village in the background. The horse is nicely added to the foreground as is your own shadow. The light is really pleasant and enhancing. Very good photo work!

Hello Ludo,
I see a lovely animal enjoying the afternoon sun!
This is a happy and well groomed horse, hopefully the yellow flowers aren't buttercups as they are poisonous for horses if eaten fresh...
A well composed image with rich colours and funny shadow play!
Greetings,

Ciao Ludo.

Ciao
Paolo.

Hi Ludo,
I think this is an excellent shot. I like the two shadows being so close to each other, as if you are talking to the horse. Good backdrop as well.
Wonderfully done,
Shaeri
