[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
This photo was taken during the ski-touring ascension of the Dent d'Hérens in the Italian Alps. The skiers are on the Grandes Murailles glacier at about 3600m. The main summit of Dent d'Hérens (4171m) cannot be reached by ski, so at this time of the year skiers usually go to the eastern summit at 4039m. The ski descent of the Grandes Murailles all the way to Prarayer Hut is an absolute must!

The blue color is mainly due to the high altitude and reflection of the sky on the snow. This is the original photo with no post processing.

Very nice moody image - the snow seems a little blue and a workshop could have done something about it - but I guess its part of the image - I like the composition and the landscape you captured - fine job after all Brigitte

I like these blue colors, makes me cold, a nice landscape and a good composition

Youve definitely captured the atmosphere well in this photo. Nice and crisp, I can feel the freshness of the snow from here.

i love this photograph and i also loe the blue in it. it is so natural . another reason for this blue is that the sun is on the other side of the mountain as it can be made out fomr the photograph. i dont know why people want to do workshops on it. this is a great photograph and i think you should leave it this way

J'aime beaucoup cette image, Brigitte, car je la trouve tout simplement très belle. Un beau paysage de glace et de neige, sur un joli fond de ciel bleu. Avec juste la trace des 2 skieurs... Une très belle réalisation, bravo!

Bonjour Brigitte, belle photo de la progression dans ce fabuleux decor blanc et bleu, cette tonalite bleue est decidement tres sympa, la montagne comme on l'aime !

Hello Brigitte.
Un retour en arrière dans ta jolie galerie et je suis tombé sur celle-ci.
Je la trouve superbe et d'une très bonne qualité.
Le cadrage est parfait avec ces traces qui partent depuis l'angle inférieur.
Les couleurs sont très bonne et la gestion de la lumière également.
