Photographer’s Note
The Schlern (in German) - Sciliar (in Italian) is the most symbolic mountain of South Tyrol (the northest province of Italy). It is by far not the highest mountain in our province (2563 m) but very central and visible from all around. It is also caracterized by the two needleshaped peaks on the right (Santner and Euringer peak).
I took this shot the same day as this one and almost from the same place. It shows another part of the Alpe di Siusi highland.
PP: cropped, contrast, saturation adjused, sharned, resized and resharpned.

Well balanced composition around the landmark which attracts the view. The sharpness could be a bit better, and so the contrast. The former may be due to lack of a tripod, maybe from the processing of the digital file...

Le paysage est joli, mais j'ai une nette impression de surexposition sur la partie rocheuse.
Nice landscape, but the rocky part looks overexposed.

A very nice panoramic view; lots of depth and much details to discover. Unfortunately I must agree that there is a slight overexposure. You probably had a very intensive sunshine that moment. Still, the picture is very good!

Great shot. It looks as though you really captured the beauty here. I agree with others that the contrast could be better, but nonetheless, its an awesome picture.

Another wonderful vista from Südtirol. I like how the alternating pattern of grass and trees on the undulating hills guides the view towards the rocky face of the Schlern. Good colors and sharpness; again my personal preference would be for some more contrast but I guess you expected that comment ;-) Beautiful shot, Günther.

This is a very nice view Guenther. You are specialist in this kind of scenery presentation. I believe, from foreground to the background is a huge distance, and it is not easy to take a shot with a correct brightness&contrast settings. Sky and mountain colours seems a bit oversaturated, but with a sharpness you did a pretty good.
Very good work.
Regards, Don.

Un'altra bella immagine dall'Altoadige... come una foto può dare nostalgia più di tante parole!
La proporzione dei campi verdissimi in primo piano e della montagna rende bene il senso di ampio respiro della veduta.. proprio bella!

Another great shot Guenther! You succeeded in seizing the immensity of the mountain. You create a nice foreground to accompany your subject. All these little hills contrasting with the hign mountain are beautiful.

I htink this one is too sharp!(this was my first thought!) The trees in teh foreground are well choosen. The colors are good too, no need for more saturation!

Hi Guenther, this is a very nice landscape, sharp and well composed. But your exposure looks about 2 stops over on my monitor.

Thanks for sharing this Guenther - I been to Tyrol - but only from the Austian side and during the winter - a great landscape to watch - even without snow - very fine quality and sharpness - fine work indeed.

Hi Guenther,
A very nice panoramic landscape. Maybe a little overexposed, but it's a good composition. Well done.
